Billy Cook ("Mentor") offers conversational mentorship sessions to help the Participant develop in areas of their choosing, which may include baseball and recruiting, school, faith, goal setting, and general life guidance. Sessions are supportive and conversational in nature.
This program is NOT therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. Billy is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, counselor, or medical professional. Sessions reflect his personal experience and opinion, not clinical advice. What has worked for him may not work for every participant. If a family needs professional mental health, medical, or academic support, they should seek a licensed provider. Billy is glad to help point them toward one if needed.
Sessions take place by video call at a scheduled time known to the parent in advance. Sessions are recorded, and recordings are made available to the parent on request. The Mentor will not initiate private contact with the Participant outside of scheduled sessions (no direct texting, DMs, or social media messaging with the minor). The parent may join or observe any session at any time. If the Participant discloses information suggesting risk of harm to themselves or others, the Mentor will pause the mentorship conversation, encourage the Participant to speak with a trusted adult, and promptly notify the parent and, where legally required, appropriate authorities.
Membership is billed monthly at the rate selected during sign up. It may be canceled at any time; access continues through the remainder of the period already paid for. Fees are for the Mentor's time and availability, not for any guaranteed outcome, such as athletic recruitment, scholarship offers, or performance results.
The Mentor will keep the content of sessions private and will not share details publicly or with third parties, except with the parent, as required by law, or where necessary to protect the Participant's safety as described above. Absent separate written consent, the Mentor will not use the Participant's name, image, or identifiable details in marketing or on social media.
Either party may end this agreement at any time with written notice. The Mentor reserves the right to discontinue sessions if the parent or Participant is unresponsive, or if continuing is not in the Participant's best interest, with a pro rated refund of unused fees where applicable.

Billy wasn't a can't miss prospect. He played four years of college baseball at Pepperdine, carrying a full course load the entire time: the same tension a lot of families are carrying right now. Baltimore drafted him in the 10th round in 2021, and it took years working through every level of the minor leagues before his first call up, with the Pittsburgh Pirates, in September 2024.
